Interested in building a website?

I can help you.

Building a website is nothing like it was when I first started almost 10 years ago. Today, there are services and platforms that allow anyone to create a professional looking site with ease. Read on to learn how you can do this.

The Seven Most Important Aspects of a Website

Most clients who are interested in having a website built for them or their business have no idea there’s more to it than just getting a name and posting their information online. I used to be the same way.

When I started building websites, I quickly learned there are several important things required to build a successful website. The two most obvious are a domain name and hosting. The domain name is your web address or web presence. Hosting is what stores your site and allows it to load for users. The five other necessary aspects are as follows;

  1. Speed of load time
  2. Professional Looking Design
  3. Ease of navigation
  4. Uses a Content Management System (CMS)
  5. Quality Content

These last five things are what determine your website’s success and profitability. To achieve them, it is best to utilize a framework that simplifies the process. I highly recommend WordPress for this (fill out the box below to build a free WordPress website right now).

Why WordPress is so important

You’ve likely heard of WordPress, as it is the world’s most used website framework. Even this site was built with WordPress.

When I started building websites a decade ago, you had to do everything by hand. You absolutely had to have programming knowledge to be successful. Things have changed dramatically since then. Thanks to Content Management Systems like WordPress, anyone can build a successful, profitable website. Why? Because WordPress:

  • is extremely easy to install and set-up (just a click of a button)
  • requires NO programming knowledge
  • includes over 1,400 website templates
  • includes over 10,000 one-click add-ons features
  • includes unlimited help and support from with in the community

Today, I only use WordPress to build websites for myself and clients. Keep reading to learn how you can get your own WordPress website and build it in about five minutes.

  1. Awesome! That’s such an easy process compared to other software out there!

It’s amazing how so many people are fed the mindset that they have to spend hundreds of dollars to build a website when you can do it in under a minute with Siterubix!

I’ll never regret finding this. Instant website with everything set up to start building your online business!

  2. I just wanted to write for anyone who is reading that building a website is actually as easy as 1-2-3..

years back, people needed to hire a tech to get things like this setup. These days, you can press a button and have a professional website up and second. Also websites are more than just for games and knowledge. People are making 6 figure incomes every week just from blogging. Now that isn’t average, but there are people still making a killing and doing just as good.

    1. Thanks so much for your comment, Tomas! As a person who’s built several websites for businesses over the years, I can’t stress enough how wonderful it is business owners can take advantage of opportunities like this. They can literally save thousands of dollars AND have a more effective form of marketing. Plus, like you said, this is an easy an effective way to earn an income.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Hi JaemiO.

I agree that WordPress is a great place to build your website. I started with WordPress, so I don’t have a basis for comparison; but I’m sure it is much easier than it used to be 10 years ago when you had to do it all yourself. I would never have been able to do that.

I liked your 5 most important aspects of building a website. I think most people do think that all you need is a domain name and hosting. I don’t think they realize how important the other 5 aspects are.

    1. Hi Jeannie,

Thanks so much for stopping by and the compliments.

I can’t blame folks for thinking this, when all you ever hear about and see is the site. Having this understanding, though, can greatly help you to see the value of Wealthy Affiliate; even without the training. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars before switching to Wealthy Affiliate for just hosting alone. This is included with the free websites from Wealthy Affiliate, as well as 25 more sites, if you sign up for the Prenium program. Talk about a major money saver!

  5. JaemiO, you explain how to build a good, solid website in one page while many others take pages and pages. This is a nice simple approach. I love WordPress – so easy to use and when you’re done you feel like you have accomplished something even though they do it all for you. All you have to do is write. Well done.

    1. Hi Warren,

Thanks so much for that! I hate wasting time, so I try my best to provide good information succinctly whenever possible.

I was skeptical of WordPress for years, myself. I guess coming from a self-taught coding background, I just didn’t trust a system that could do it all for you. All to often those plug-and-play sites don’t function as well or load as smoothly across devices as a hand-built site. After years of fighting it, I decided trying it out for free with a training program that could teach me how to gain more traffic was more than worth it. I am beyond pleased with the training system the Wealthy Affiliate provides, as well as the well functioning WordPress system they give you to build your websites. I haven’t had to code a thing yet and like you said, it’s incredibly easy to use.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope to see you here again,

      JaemiO
